Kids pointy hat:
Gauge: 4 st/in on US sz 8 circs.
Yarn: 100% recycled, hand dyed cotton. You can buy some at my Etsy shop: http://www.soulfulhues.etsy.com

Co 60 st on size 8 circs. using any preferred CO method, I used a long tail CO
Knit in stockinette st for about four inches
Set up dec. round knit 20 sts, pm, do this 3 times, we're using a double dec here so knit to within 2 sts of marker, slip those 2 sts knitwise, hold marker in your teeth while you knit the next st, then pass those 2 slipped sts over the last knit st. put marker back on right needle and continue on.

dec every other round.when you've got about 6 st left on the needles, you could either use a darning needle, slip the the sts off the needles and pull the yarn through, or you can graft them together. I grafted mine.

Weave in ends and find a cute kid to model for you!
