Toddler Socks

I'm trying to perfect my sock pattern and I'm learning a lot with each sock, so those standing by just waiting the pattern, take a seat, it'll be awhile ;)

I made these for my 1.5 year old daughter. They are knit with magic loop of course, featuring a short row heel, which I'm not sure is properly done because I can't read a pattern for the life of me. For the toe, I just did two rounds of dec, then grafted them together. I used my favorite dec, s2tog k1 psso.

The yarn yarn is my own recycled, hand dyed 100% cotton. Yummy!

They sure are cute though huh?

Hi again! The socks look great, but the real challenge on a toddler's chubby legs, is do they stay up? lol

Love the colors! Seriously, that is dyed recycled yarn? Amazing! Someday, I'd like to learn how to do that too, (but I'll start with just trying the recycling the yarn part, for now).

Well, I used the backward loop cast on because it's just so darn pretty and it is preventing them from staying on I think. I need smaller needles, I used a 3 for these socks, but I bet I could go down to a 1 for the ribbing.
