Toddler Socks

I'm trying to perfect my sock pattern and I'm learning a lot with each sock, so those standing by just waiting the pattern, take a seat, it'll be awhile ;)

I made these for my 1.5 year old daughter. They are knit with magic loop of course, featuring a short row heel, which I'm not sure is properly done because I can't read a pattern for the life of me. For the toe, I just did two rounds of dec, then grafted them together. I used my favorite dec, s2tog k1 psso.

The yarn yarn is my own recycled, hand dyed 100% cotton. Yummy!

They sure are cute though huh?

The socks are done!

I love them.
I'm sorry, but I like the simplicity of the heel gusset area. I'll never knit a "proper" sock again, that's for sure.

I ran out of yarn, but who cares, they totally rock! And do you know how fun it is to take photos of your own feet?

I'm going to whip up some kids socks so I can play with, and perfect the pattern, then I'll post it for sure.
